How it works
Four steps from first email to a gallery you'll want to print.
Reach out with your dates
Tell me roughly when, how many people, and any little ones or pets joining. I come back with a couple of date and location options within a business day.
We plan the location and the light
Once the date is set I send a location-specific outfit guide and pick a start time around golden hour so the light does half the work.
60 minutes on location
Real direction, not awkward standing around. I keep it moving so kids stay engaged and everyone looks like themselves.
Edited gallery in 5 days
Around 40 fully edited high-res images in a private gallery, with a print release so you can do anything you want with them.

How many people can be in the session?
Standard family sessions cover an immediate family — typically up to 6 people. Larger extended-family groups are welcome; reach out and I'll quote the right amount of time so everyone gets photographed properly.
Where do you shoot?
Outdoors at Peninsula locations — Holbrook-Palmer Park in Atherton, Foothills Nature Preserve in Palo Alto, Filoli in Woodside, Half Moon Bay, and many more. I'll recommend the best fit for your family, the season, and the light.
What if the weather turns?
We reschedule for free. Bay Area marine layer is real — I'd rather move the date than shoot in flat, gray light. No rebooking fee.
When will we get our photos?
Your private gallery is ready within 5 business days. Need them faster for cards or gifts? Rush delivery is available as an add-on.
Do you photograph pets?
Absolutely — pets are part of the family. Just confirm your chosen location allows them and we'll work them into the session.
